A successful payment gets one order — and one inventory conversion.
v0.12.14 adds the server order ledger that consumes an existing checkout reservation exactly once. QA can simulate processor success/failure without collecting a card or pretending the live payment processor is connected.
Can one payment event finalize one checkout exactly once?
The automated test creates disposable QA holds and proves success creates one immutable order, consumes stock once, duplicate success is idempotent, failure releases stock, expired holds cannot finalize, and payment events are recorded.
Use the checkout hold you already proved
Start a QA Shopper/Maker session, put a server-backed QA listing in Checkout, complete Delivery + Fulfillment, then use the staging-only payment simulator in Payment & Review. Success should clear the hold/cart and create a server receipt.
Order finalization checks
Record only evidence you actually perform on clarawidetest.
Real payment/order gates
The server order contract is testable now. Production processor/tax/shipping/refund/Admin evidence remains intentionally open.
