One last item means one winner — not two apology emails.
v0.12.14 keeps stock authority in D1, real Cart + Checkout grouped holds, and now hands successful QA payment finalization into the immutable server order ledger. Reservation creation stays database-guarded so competing shoppers cannot both reserve the same last unit.
Can D1 prevent overselling the last unit?
The self-test creates one disposable tracked item with quantity 1 and fires two competing reservations. Exactly one must win. It then proves retry idempotency, release, conversion, sold-out rejection, audit evidence and cleanup.
Maker stock writes hit the same source of truth
Start a QA Maker Session first. This probe creates a disposable D1 listing with 4 units, confirms its inventory row, changes stock to 3 through the inventory API, verifies the catalog quantity follows, and deletes the fixture.
Manual shopper reservation walkthrough
Use one active QA public listing with tracked stock. Add it from the shopper product page, confirm live stock in Cart, continue to Checkout, and verify Clara creates a 10-minute hold with a visible countdown. Return to Cart explicitly and confirm the hold releases; enter Checkout again and confirm a fresh hold is created.
Inventory + checkout checks
Record only evidence you actually perform on clarawidetest.
Checkout + order inventory gates
Cart + Checkout use grouped server holds and QA order finalization can consume them once. Production processor-backed conversion and full operational evidence remain open.
